Engineering the web, done right.

At Select Interactive, our goal is to bring expert software engineering to the web. We create custom websites and web applications from the ground up, designed and developed for the specific needs of each project. All work is done in-house, by our team. No outsourcing. No shortcuts. No platforms.

The Team

Jeremy Burton

Jeremy Burton is a Co-founder and Partner of Select Interactive, leading development strategy and technology direction across all client engagements. With over 20 years of programming experience, he specializes in front-end web development (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) with a strong background in database implementation and design.

Jeremy has participated at Chrome Dev Summit (2013-2015, 2019, 2021), Edge Conf (2013-2014), SXSWi, and jQuery Conference. He is also Co-Founder and CTO of Vicarious, a live streaming platform for non-profits.

Dan Harris

Bringing nearly 40 years of programming experience to the team, Dan Harris provides the deep engineering foundation behind Select Interactive's most complex data and infrastructure challenges. He has developed software solutions across real estate, horticulture, advertising, and merchandising.

In 1995 Dan founded SohoPros, Inc., a technical support and custom web development firm, which evolved over two decades into the foundation that Select Interactive was built upon.

How We Work

The principles we build on

  • All in-house, always
Every line of code is written by our own team. No outsourcing to overseas developers, no contract farms. You work directly with the people building your product.

  • Senior engineers only
Both founders are hands-on developers with decades of experience. Every engagement benefits from that expertise directly, not filtered through account managers.

  • Custom from the ground up
We don't use WordPress, Squarespace, or page builders. Every project is architected and built specifically for the needs of the project.

  • Built to last
We build on standards and modern, maintainable code. No lock-in, no black boxes. Your codebase is something you can own, extend, and hand to any developer.
